Stylish Shoes For Spring - Post #3

The Converse All Stars had their comeback as cool spring and summer shoes some years ago. I like the casual, old school design, but in my opinion, it's time to breath new live in the spring/summer sneakers department. So I started to search for alternatives and found some really stylish, laid-back shoes. Here is a list of six kinds of shoes, that have the potential to be as popular as the 20' classic.

Freitag Bags - Post #2

Just recently, I bought one of these Freitag Bags, made from used truck tarps, safety belts and bicycle tubes. These bags, which are extremely popular in Switzerland, but barely known outside Europe, are made in the city of Zürich, were the two brothers Daniel and Markus Freitag started producing their first bags in 1993. But enough of brand history, let's jump to the bag itself.

The bag I chose is called Dragnet, as it's claimed to be the best for school. Every bag is unique, as the truck tarps, which are sold by companies, that don't need them anymore, are unique. The design of the bag is sleek and doesn't distract form the patter or text on the fabric. The Bag is also unbelievably durable and weather resistant.
As it is made out of used materials, the bag is a bit dirty and has a strong smell, that fortunately vanishes after some weeks. The price of 220.- Swiss Francs (about 240 USD) is really worth it, as the bags are trendy but also something special.

Sailing Adventure - Post #1

Finally I am ready and I set up my first blog, apart from the blog I had during my trip to the States last summer, where I realized how MUCH fun I have blogging.
In the past months I got really fascinated by fashion, style and design, reading various blogs such as Dapper Lou and Fashion Bits and Bobs and subscribing to the GQ magazine.

I have to admit, I have not a lot of experience in fashion, but I thought I'll just start and learn as my blog makes progress.
So I'll just start with my first set of clothes made on the AWSOME webservice Polyvore, where you can create your own set of clothes from various brands and share it on Twitter, Facebook or your blog.
